Congratulations on your trip
Congratulations on your trip down under and hope the earthquakes didn't dampen your fun too much! I have a questions, maybe for a future Q&A podcast?
Fish oil seems to be all the rage these days and everyone seems to be using it for preventing heart disease. What is your view on the evidence for this and how does it compare with standard pharmacotherapy, whether it is for primary or secondary prevention? One of my formularies says that there is RCT evidence, a quick search of clinical evidence (UK) reckons it's likely to be beneficial, and a quick search of cochrane seemed to suggest otherwise.
It would be great if you could enlighten me on this. Hopefully you have enjoyed your well deserved break.
Thanks, Mike and James, for
