Professor cleland from uk - google cleland and aspirin - says the evidence for long term use in stable CVD is weak if there. His claim is that benefit has been demonstrated for a couple of m0nths post event. The problem with meta analyses he says is they include trials where treated has been started early and thus give wrong impression re effectiveness over time
