Mike and James start at the "large" issue of intra-subject variability, then focus on the "small" impact CRP has on absolute risk assessment, and briefly discuss how "accurate" risk assessments are in the first place.

This podcast was extremely helpful. I was recently at a university-sponsored drug therapeutics conference and one speaker was spouting the benefits of CRP without any critical analysis of the benefits or thought to having a conversation with patients about the usefulness of the test. Thanks for helping me have the words to be able to ask questions next time I hear this kind of information.
