dare I say....pharmacokinetics?!

I've heard that the absorption of topical NSAIDs can depend on how thin or fat the patient is. Is this true, and which causes the better result? Does the fat act like a depot and give more sustained action, or is there better absorption in a thinner patient/joint closer to the skin, or is all this just myth/conjecture?!

PLO gel

PLO stands for pluronic lecithin organogel. The lipid layer in the PLO gel enhances penetration across all skin layers. You could have asked a compounding pharmacist to join the podcast for this one. =)
